Rodeway Inn & Suites New Paltz - Hudson Valley

Since September 2024, I have been making all my reservation at the Rodeway Inn Suite in New New Platz-Hudson Valley. My stay has been excellent. The rooms are clean and the hallway at night is quiet. The staff are very friendly and professional. I would Recommend all work staff from the surrounding areas to stay at this suite it’s worth it

Very clean and comfortable. I have a fear of inexpensive motels due to previous bad experiences-but nothing at all to fear here. Pleasantly surprised, would definitely stay here again.

The room seemed to have been renovated lately and they were clean. They were also pretty spacious. There was a microwave and a coffeemaker in the room, but you can also get (kinda good) coffee in the lobby. The staff were efficient and polite, so no complaints from my side. The only thing was, that there weren't a lot of choices to eat, so we had to drive to the nearest town. A minor inconvenience as it was pretty nice otherwise.

It's a 2 star hotel, but this isn't a 2 star review. I stayed here for a business trip in the area and the location allowed me to get between clients. I ended up having an issue with the lock where it stopped working and the staff gave me a new room that was an upgrade. It was quite, clean, and I got my work done so ended up happy. They are in the midst of upgrades, which i appreciate, and it became clear when i switched my room. So just make sure you ask for a room that's been fully redone.

The rooms in the facility were clean and comfortable. It met all of my needs for a quick place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Was nearly put off by the reviews I had read - glad I wasn’t the reception was fine it looked newly renovated, the room was large and clean with two queen beds in it. The location is a little out of town but that you can see from the map. The walls were solid and no noise transference, the long corridors of with rooms off of it is typical of a motel. There are low income people staying at the far end of the ‘complex’ - but my experience was fine and the price was extremely good.

My wife and I are up here for my wife's alumni weekend. This hotel was a fifteen minute drive from her old campus. I must say I haven't seen a Bible in a hotel in about twenty years. It sort of confused me with the lock on the fridge door with instructions for the key at the front desk. The bathroom itself looked newly renovated with a new tub. The bedspread and drapes had fall colors which I wasn't sure was on purpose or not. While the surrounding area was nothing but woods and road there was a mall and food spots within 5 min which was pretty good. The also had two charge stations for electric cars and solar panels they used for lights outside. If you can't adjust the volume on the remote press the button under TV with the power light. Overall it was a inexpensive option and pretty decent one.

It’s a budget motel at a budget price. I found the room to be very clean, seemed freshly painted. The bathroom was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Reading other reviews, I think they have made improvements recently. There is a fridge, microwave and Keurig machine. The wifi was fast enough for me to do work Zoom calls. The air conditioner is indeed loud and wouldn’t turn off unless I unplugged it, but I sleep better with white noise anyway. I would stay here again. If you prefer a fancier place at a fancier price, those are certainly available in the area. But in fairness, that’s not exactly a knock against this place.
